This medium sized contractor operates from a single office on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales yet remaining in easy commuting distance of Leeds, Bradford, North Yorkshire and the Pennines. Focused purely on commercial and industrial sized projects, they offer full design and build capability on a range of projects from schools to leisure centres and from distribution centres to corporate HQ’s.
Operating nationally from their Yorkshire base, they also have a small works division which provides general maintenance and servicing of M&E plant giving an additional business stream and a long term link with clients for whom they have carried out installation projects for.
Employing circa 40 staff, including 15 of which based in the office, they offer a considerable amount of stability with their management team being in place for over 20 years. This does not mean that this is an organisation which is not evolving; having made considerable investment in plant and technology to improve efficiency and to keep pace with change within the industry they are in the process of a management buy out creating fresh opportunities for staff to have a greater a stake in the companies and their own future.
This Electrical Project Manager post will be responsible for projects of high quality that are located throughout various parts of the country.
You will be responsible for a number of engineers and project managing the installation of electrical building services systems on a variety of projects.
It will be your duty to provide cost effective management of the electrical contract work. Your duties will include Health and Safety, checking contract requirements, specifications, drawings and contract conditions, bringing the project through from initial conception, to commissioning and final auditing and handover.
The salary for this position is negotiable and the staff benefits include BUPA and a company car.
